Scott HQ probably looked at their revenue curve and said "Lets confuse everybody and sell some more bikes to the saps down in South Africa who care about this". After giggling for 20 minutes they phoned Ninno's mechanic and told him to change the wheel size. Then they sat up in their fortified headquarters and chuckled when on Monday morning everyone dumped their 27,5 wheels and went to 29. Does that explain it....

banna Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Ok so here's the plan. I'm gonna get a 650b as well, then I have 26, 27.5 and 29 in my garage. Depending on what the market thinks is the best size, I can then just switch from week to week. Ugh. Kry sommer n maagseer.

So real world race testing after testing in training would be my guess. He didn't like the way that the older niner handled with the front end being that much higher than the 275's (due to the larger wheel & fork)
