Sounds like good fun, but we're coming down with the MTB's and want to hit Meerendal and some of the other lovely trails you guys are privileged enough to ride regularly!

Just remember your dust masks, as it is, well, dusty as hell.

My CTCT is over, took a tumble on the MTB Trail Sunday, cracked rib and torn shoulder ligament. See you guys next year and enjoy your ride.

Eish!

Recover swiftly, GAP ????

I really hope Cape Town gets (lots of) rain urgently and wouldn't mind it this weekend, but after all the muddy rides we've had the last couple of weeks, dust doesn't sound that bad!

Any roadworks in Simons? Who's starting at 7:02

Yea whoever the clever oke was that said its all downhill after Suikerbossie he probably had 1 to many beers at the bottom

It called the Cape Town Cycle TOUR and not the "Cape Town Cycle finish as fast as you can".

So the whole thing is flat! Just windy/breezy/gusty/blowy. And it rains. Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully. But the beer will be good no matter which way you go.

Would love to be invited to do the Argus Double Lap one year, best of both worlds: My inner Racing snake can post the best possible time and then follow that up with a relaxed cruise around the beautiful Cape and enjoy the Beers on offer.

I just got back into cycling a week ago, and was supposed to ride with my friend and his wife.

We went for a little cycle on the weekend, and I felt very comfortable with the pace.

Now they are both sick, and I might have to ride without an excuse!

Still looking forward to it though!

So, we are almost ready to roll. Bike washed, kit packed. The bike she is standing in the sun gleaming, ready to load. Was very very quick. No scrubbing for the cassette even, despite the spiderwebs ????

Because why? Because packing for this one appears to be finished before training started ????

Sigh.

Tourist class for me again.
