Had a spare two hours this Saturday so knocked this together, just need to take it apart for paint and then put it back up again.

Been feeling very DIY lately. Just worried it does not drain fast enough and floods house

I want to know more about this please

I've been a busy little bee.

Empty Plot. House from scratch.

This is what it looks like after 4 months.

Was hoping to move in mid summer.

But so much to do still...

Master bedroom. Wife wanted a walk in closet. I still think its impractical because it just takes up so much room. But the plus side is we will have much fewer items of furniture in our room.

I especially love this little corner in the last pic. Walk in closet directly opposite en suite bathroom. So I want to put a little corner sofa on the left. A place she can plant herself to put on shoes.

The odd arrangement also means she has a huge corner spot against the en-suite wall for her dressing table and stool.

As you can imagine I have more than enough brownie points to buy a new bike. Sadly though. I have no money left.

Still trying to figure out things in the en suite.

Kids room. Designed the house so there are 2 of these rooms of identical size with entrances opposite each other and the guest bathroom between them.

Passage. Master bedroom at the end. Halfway down is a nook to the left. Its the entrance to both kid rooms and bathroom.

Open plan lounge, dining area, kitchen and scullery. The wife if driving me crazy with all the yellows. It must have been painted over like 6 times already.

Anyways there are a few things I haven't figured out yet...

Actually. Its what happens when your wife spends enough time on Pinterest to consider herself a qualified interior designer. Then once she starts and it doesn't turn out like the pictures. It all just snowballs from there... You don't know her do you Gen? Honey. If you're reading this. I love you...

That's what happens when you build from scratch!

And those yellows... I dunno, man.

Please don't start.

Those yellows have been stressing me out since she started with them.

I'm so relievd that she finally settled on those.

That I actually don't care what it looks like anymore.

I still dont know what to do about the little wall.

Cladding? Wallpaper? Wood?

Anything but more yellow paint...

As in actual arguments man. I cave though. As in let her decide.

Which as you can imagine is not the right response at all.

I have to agree, or, disagree only to be shot down and end up agreeing anyways.
