The other day after a "date night" I took my wife into the parking lot of the Bike shop to show her a Bike in the window. She thought I was being romantic until she realised where we were. Her expression was classic.

You go on honeymoon to Mauritius for 2 weeks and take the bike with so you can do a 2 day road race. (wedding and honeymoon where in the racing season, cant be off the bike for 2 weeks)

When you attend a weekend away wedding at Mofam (Elgin Valley) and make sure to fit your bike in so you can ride Oak Valley all Saturday while the wife does her maid of honor duties ????

I have 2 Colnago frames. In the process of completing the one, and I'm already contemplating getting a third before I start on the 2nd one's build.

I have 2 Bianchi frames. One is built up and serving me well the other will be an SS project. Still looking around for s vintage Bianchi frame.

When your gf wants that morning quickie, but she's taking longer than expected so you're planning a budget for a new bike instead, but that doesn't help either as you realise she's taking up cycling time.

When your main concern when buying a house is how close it is to your local trail.

true story

I suggested once to Blondie we look at a house for sale on the other end of town. The first thing she said was "No, its too far from the trails!" Didnt even want to look at the place.

Unless you have faked "arriving" because the nookie has started cutting into your morning ride time, you cant call yourself a true cyclist :)

Her: "Sheez that was quick!?!"

Me: "Phew I know, but its because you are so damn sexy, bye see you in about 4 hours".

Its a win win, your partner gets a compliment, you get your ride in!

When you're driving in the car and you try and work out the gradient of every hill.

When you're driving in your car and you start Strava to see how steep the gradient is....
