Iwan Kemp Posted October 17, 2016 Share Confused, on the Cannondale Website it lists the scalpel 3 as having RR snakeskin tyres and 11/42. I have one on order and was swapping the cassette for a SRAM 10/42 with a 34 chainring. Please confirm which is correct as this report says it has an 11/46 as standard. Cannondale SA have confirmed that the bike will be shipping with a 11-46 cassette and not 11-42 like the early sample we reviewed. RyanD Posted November 11, 2016 Share Guys I need some input please. My carbon 3 is standing at my LBS. I want a 36 chainring for it with the 11/46 that's on the bike. Apparently the oval chainring will not work on the bike due to frame clearance issues as the ring is to wide. Next is to source a 36 round with the cannondale direct mount, any ideas as we are coming up blank. Wolf tooth make a camo system but I have to order in from the states.
