Going to be a tough one to call this year. (ito the winner)

Darryl Impey!

But seriously, no idea who is going to win these classics, which makes it fun to watch.

But pretty sure we will see some familiar faces animating the races:

GVA

SAGAN

Terpstra

Michael Valgren

come again? was it just rounding off, because ~4% is quite a margin of error!

did they measure it with cyclecomputers that slipped over the cobbles?

I know this race is all about heritage but GPS was invented in the 80s, you know before carbon bikes were a thing

By pure chance of events I will actually be at P-R due to having to recon the TDF TT route the week before. This is 1 of biggest stoke vibes I have so far.

There's nothing like seeing the Arenberg cobbles up and close to realise how brutal that section is. Can easily lose a proper dikwiel in.

Must have been a biatch even when the romans pulled their wagons over it.

well, that's a hardship you'll just have to endure.

oh... and pics or it didn't happen

The winning distribution across the teams have been remarkably wide spread

I think it’s just FDJ and another team that must still cross the white chalk first

Gonna be very hard to call this Spring

Teams are looking very competitive

Then again, while the favourites stalk each other, another less favoured can get away.

Sit down before you hurt yourself....maybe he can give the Ardennes a better go this year?

He is very good in the beginning of the season as with last year as TDU is a big focus for him.. the other guys really just use it to get back into a racing after the break...

But I agree that this year's spring classics is very open.. and we haven't really seen the big boys form.

Smart money on Van Aert for Strade Bianchi maybe.. coming off his cyclo season and he did have a great one last year, on his first try too..he will be motivated.

Had the privilege of going to the rider sign-in yesterday at the UAE Tour (stage 2). Spoke to the M-S guys and joked that they should've brought Impey with for us Saffas. Basically they said he is currently recovering from Aus and will build up towards a tilt at the Ardennes this year, where they expect he will mixing it with the big boys. So we can start singing "Impey" in April again!
