I think we all kinda sensed that this guy had acted abominably enough to precipitate the response that he got from Chris jnr. He could and should have had the balls to be honest enough to admit upfront that he was told to shop elsewhere after telling CW to F U thrice.

 

It's easy to sit behind a keyboard, abusing social media to hold a business to ransom, but its not right.

There are some people misunderstanding everything. This will be the last time I'm posting on this thread. I am stating 3 important points:

 

1. The message was sent to me a week after black Friday

2. The message was sent to me after I made a comment on a Facebook post of CWC. This was explained in my previous post. It was not sent after what I'm accused of doing - swearing 3 times. Let's think about the way some of you are interpreting it: If I swore on the phone call and if that message was sent to me AFTER the phone call, Chris Jnr would have had to remember my name, stalk me on Facebook, eliminate people with the same name (or guess which one is me) and send me a message. If I really did swear him 3 times, he would have told me to shop elsewhere on the phone call and not send me a message via Facebook.

3. The part about swearing is not true. It's just to cover up.

 

Like I said, this will be my last post on this thread. I am not telling anyone not to shop at CWC, I am merely giving my experience. People are free to shop wherever they wish.

@frustrated swear or didnt swear, pull the recording from Telkom, and if need be (dont know how its works) i'll sign to give them the right to provide you with it! And post it!

Those said ppl must now I am from the deep souf ???????? I got a call this afternoon from Melanie willemse saying they will sort my order out and send me what i ordered.

 

 

Either that or they replied to the email I sent them ????...either way seems the end result will be positive .

This is not entirely true. The part about threatening to give bad reviews on social media pages is true.

 

After receiving a message from CWC, I left the issue completely. This was Saturday the 26th November (the day I got a response). It should be noted that I only got a response since I said that I would give bad reviews. 

 

I was cool with all of this. 

 

On Saturday, 3rd December, CWC Online posted on their Facebook Page asking something about whether Black Friday should be more often. So I replied saying that for stores who are able to handle the traffic that would be a great idea, but for CWC Online... NO! (I can't remember the exact words but it was something to this effect). This is when Chris got angry and messaged me. The screenshot shown before says "Conversation Started Today" because I took that screenshot immediately after I received the message from him. If I go back to my Facebook messages now, it will show the date and time it was actually sent (Saturday 3rd December). So Chris's statement "It was at this stage where I admit I lost some composure" is not true as he lost his composure when I made the comment on the Facebook post on 3rd December. This shows that he could not take the criticism of his online store. My comment on that post has been deleted and I have been blocked from the page.

 

I am not sure if he has the conversations saved, but if he does, the dates of the messages can be seen. 

 

Everything posted on Social media should be available online as the page is promoted as Chris Willemse Cycles "Online". I had no idea that there was an actual store since I saw the words "Online". I assumed that it was warehouse style and orders are only processed online. As a suggestion, if you advertise something on the Page and its not available online, please state that its only an in store special.    

 

I also want to tell you that if someone criticizes your store take it like a man. Those very people who criticize could be the ones with the brilliant ideas or knowledge to make it better.

 

Don't lie just to defend your reputation!

Aye aye aye- I'm not one to feed the trolls...

But your posts reek of a whining juvenile person who didn't get their immediate way and thought kicking up a fuss would make you get the attention you thought you deserved.

 

Chris Jnr probably shouldn't have told you to go elsewhere (or at least not in writing), and kudos Chris on addressing the issue and still offering the BFD pricing.

 

Bad situation blown out of proportion and now the OP is trying to milk it and is probably enjoying the attention.

 

Let's stop feeding the trolls.....

Classic thread, had a few awesome laughs out of it.

Chris Willemse, you should look into service management software, starts free and will transform your business. You'll never miss an incident again - check out ManageEngine (which starts free) and ServiceNow. Email and phones are limited in their ability to handle problem/service management.

Only thing is, the number of new hub members might decline as a result. And we won't have any need for Jan Poesk videos.

No you can't. Anyone honestly think Telkom record billions of calls daily in case they end up with Chris Jnr in a "He said, She said" argument? Tsk Tsk. You guys watch too many movies.

So, the okes are riding their bikes and don't deal with a customer - everyone jumps to their defence. The oke patronisingly responds on this forum to the current incident and everyone immediately assumes that his version is the truth and that the OP is a lying chancer. WTF do they put in the water in CPT that makes everyone so forgiving of this particular retailer. Maybe it is just me, but I visited their shop in Durbanville many times and never experienced service that would make me jump to their defence.

Dont you know us Cape Town okes have their own private entrance, dedicated online sales staff and 50% discount on everything all the time card at CWC.... thought it was common knowledge. 

So, the okes are riding their bikes and don't deal with a customer - everyone jumps to their defence.
