Anyone using Zwift?

Recommended Posts

For the last couple of months in the Team TT races the Tron was king!! There was one week where the Canyon performed the best, but obviously there was something not right with the specs.. Zwift downgraded the performance of the Cayon after that.. Still a good choice though, but not as good as it was that one or two weeks when it became available.

It's a bit of a bummer. I wouldn't have bought it if it had the post-nerf specs. It's still a fast frame but I'd rather use the Tron or the Venge

Myself - I have a Giant TCR in my garage and I ride a TCR on Zwift.  I'll try the Canyon during the TTT tomorrow night, but will probably go back to the Giant after that.

Tomorrow's TTT is a bit of a toss-up.. half the lap is flat and half is hilly. I'm still going with the Tron tomorrow. Next choice would be the Canyon Aeroad with Zipp 808s

We have three teams - a Ladies Vienna team, a Mixed team and then the Cheese and Wine team for the beginners.  Actually works out really well because we have already had beginners from the Cheese and Wine progress really rapidly into solid C riders.

That's nice!! We are also starting to talk about getting the missuses involved for a Vienna team!

What is your team's name?

We've had a few weeks where we were enough riders to enter an Espresso and a Frappe team. But last week we had just enough strong A's and strong B's(almost A's) to put together a super strong Frappe team. And I'm just the normal B rider making up the numbers hehe. In this team formation the only tactic available for me to use is to basically just hold on for dear life for as long as possible until I spectacularly blow up!

Hey Johan

I know a few of your team members are Hubbers.  I think you need to give them a shout out on here so TheHub can get behind them for the race!

Good luck!

How did this go? I watched it this morning but it looks like they didn't cover much of the Frappe category

Yeah I see we didn't get any airtime. Ah well, maybe next time if we get invited to Platinum League again.

We did okay, but I think we all feel we actually could've gone a bit better..for me personally it was the most difficult Team TT course yet! We ended up 7th in Platinum League, and 13th overall out of 214 Frappe teams.

Ya, it seems like a really difficult course for a TTT. Those short sharp climbs really throw a spanner into the works when you're trying to keep a team together.

You guys still pulled out a solid result, well done.

I've only done TTTs as part of the ZRL and they've been miserable to say the least. Mostly due to inexperience. They're destroying any chance of us winning our division. The scratch races are going well at least
