Boras are the obvious choice, and thats the problem.... all Colnagos have Boras.

Also in my price bracket, Bora One 38s is what I can get, right here on the Hub.... Ultras are bit more.

So far it seems:

Bora One: R29k

Zipp 303: R30k

Corima 47- R30k

My old man has these exact Mavics that he has never used, I am sure I can get them off of him for less than R20k, what you think? This is the exact frame and wheels. I think its also has that different braking surface, only thing stopping me is that they a tad deep.

What's your opinion on these Mavics?

Hi,

I am in the market for some new wheels.

My criteria is:

Full Carbon

Clincher (No, I will not go tubby)

Not too deep, in the 303 type depth bracket.

Around the R30k mark

What are the options out there? Opinions?

If you have links to good local deals, they will be most welcome.

I just want a change. If you want some cool Carbon wheels with a PowerTap built in, go look in the classifieds, there is a good deal!

Edit: They are going on a Colnago C60, so they must be HOT too ;)

Quite a choice in that bracket!

Whatever you decide drop us a mail. We can do you a good deal on Bora's etc as well - although they might not be listed on our site.

These could also be an option, and they are not too deep, but might be over your budget. Can check if my LBS can make a plan with pricing if you interested.

What would you guys pay for these then? Mavic Cosmic SLR? They are 2013s but are unused. 1600g

They were more than R30k 2 years ago?
