Maybe consider editing your heading to something more specific to the issue

Good luck and poor little dog .....

Imagine how aggressive and irrational a bunch of rabid cyclists/keyboard warriors would be?! I hope you find them before somebody gets hit with a front wheel......

Can you imagine the Strava-holes over the weekend!

The Rabies comes out on Fridays in this place, about 90% are rabid

was about to say that would explain a lot ...

and it would appear there are no less than 7 Fridays per week on this forum ....

jokes aside - HOPE the cyclist in question sees this thread ... let's keep bumping it ...

So I helped catch a dog that matched that exact description... only it was on a friday and not in Kloof or even natal. I briefly soiled myself until I read that bit. Rabies is f'ing serious. Hope they reach the cyclist.

Was the cyclist bitten? I always thought it was only serious if you get bitten. Geez, might one day have been up for a Darwin had i not read this.

I would seriously suggest changing the thread title to something less cryptic and more specific to the individual. This is actually quite a serious situation.

Edit: grammar

Unless the guy was bitten, there is a very small chance he would get infected.

If he was bitten, hopefully he's seen a doc already, and the doc has had him tested.

Either way, I hope the dude comes right.

I am found and on the necessary meds.

I suspected the dog could be rabid and was extremely cautious, handled the dog with my full finger gloves on and with a sheet wrapped around it.

My only concern was riding for another hour or so and potentially wiping my mouth or eyes, hence going straight onto the meds.

In hindsight I should of left the creature based on my suspicions and phoned the SPCA, but was compelled to help a lady that was battling with trying to get it into her car. Ultimately the dog would have carried on running around the suburbs and would have bitten someone or another dog, so best it is under control.
