The oracle has spoken, he's been right before. It does just show how much of a joke cycling sponsorship is if QS after this season don't have them queueing up around the corner get on the bus.

QS one of the best teams around in cycling. Arguably the best Spring Classics team in the current peleton. Hard to fathom that corporations don't want their name linked to such a successfully run outfit.

Its true and as Mntboy said its surpassing they dont line up. Maybe the actual cost of running a team that big and successful is to much for the masses lining up. Lots of companies / people have like 5-10M Euro to play with but when you needing 20+ for a team like QS Im not to sure there many lining up with that ammo to spare for a 2yr + period. Im not saying those riders / staff dont deserve to be paid what they are, they should be paid more in my eyes but the actual finds aren't there maybe.

Still 20Mil Euro isn't chump change one has lying about. But yes super crazy to think that such a well run, well managed and well liked team can't find enough sponsors to keep them going.

J Wakefield Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 He's signed with Trek Segafredo. Sunweb have a ridget set way of doing things which isnt for everyone and rather fight the system for both rider and team move on and be happy. Good move for him, definitely hasn't gone sideways.
