seat post is stuck in my frame, about 4cm of seat post is out and 10cm of seat post in the frame,

The seat post can turn if you put force on the seat sideways but i cant seem to get it out

best way to get it out?it can turn both ways with effort so its not completely stuck

Had the same issue a while ago and one of the tips was to seal the seatpost and then to pour coca cola into the seattube and leave overnight.  The coke eats away at the corrosion and helps to loosen the seatpost.  Certainly worked for me.

I was gonna suggest a vice grip on the alu to help get a better grip pulling it out as it is moving. Coke will probably help just to loosen it up more.

turn frame upside down and pour coke in or Q20

if you don't care about the seatpost ( i.e. not going to use it again ) gooi it in A vice clamp or use a vice grip and long pipe and get creative

I used Q5, turned the bike upside down for an hour to soak the Q5, then removed the post with an adjustable (bobbejaan) spanner. Made some marks on the post though.

Slide hammer will take it out.

I got an old Campag aero seat post out of a 20 old year old Tommasini a while ago.

Have done it many times, always works.

When you put it back, use copper slip it will save you this hassle down the line.

Alu on Alu is a terrible combination, specially along the coastline. Copper slip on everything.
