I believe on Friday, there was no enforcement on stopping cyclists to be fair, and I'm sure there was an awful lot more that went through.

Picture removed, just posted to show the damage (as someone asked about pictures) not for comments to be made about the riders.

Well it is still there and they are still moegoes...

Why does violence need to be applied here?

You're right. Let them ride there and perhaps they'll collect a Darwin award in the process.

It's our way as Saffers.... half of us believe the law doesn't apply to them and the other half is ready to commit violence to convince them it does.

This is probably the most accurate post I have ever read. Bravo!

Admin please pin this or something.

It's cool... Massive rock falls, damaged roads, guys telling you not to go, guys working overhead.... At your own risk means 'lets go these idiots know nothing' until a boulder or 3 land on your head and your family have to identify a mangled body and some other poor souls have to clean you off the road.... Indifference.. neighbours to entitlement.

Just stay away from the dam place

As long as there is a GoPro running for Fail Army, its ok.

"Fails of the Week" is my Friday Night guilty pleasure, always fun to try and spot the Saffers in the videos. The majority of idiotic behavior comes from our Russian friends, however the Saffers are definitely upping their game.

Them Americans are pretty dumb around water. Its their weakness. Boats, pools, snow, slip and slides, bottles of water and all time favourite, the puddle.

Does anyone know if you can still ride up to the top from the Hout Bay side or are they turning people away at the booms?

We rode up last weekend. All the way to the top lookout. Lots of walkers and a few cyclists enjoying the road sans cars.

The closure has forced us to do a little diverting from our usual rides. Rode up Lions Head yesterday. Just as amazing. And riding along Tafelberg road is also pretty special.

I had to turn back last week after sunset. Tollgate was barracaded completely for cyclists. Then a mate of mine posts a pic yesterday up at the top lookout where a gate has been setup across the road. It was during the day, so i guess try and see... if you can't get all the way up, at least do halfway twice! :w00t:
