Privacy Zone nice feature I suppose. I don’t bother, in my mind if someone wants to know where I live and is serious enough, there are much easier ways to finding out.

I have also heard that people think common criminals will use Strava to track you to either hijack you, or to see when you aren’t home so that they can steal your TV. Well if there are enough cyclists on the road for hijackers to just pick and choose, and if they want to know if you are home, ringing the door bell is a more accurate way than relying on Strava....

Weird thing is, I noticed a lot of Huisgenoot magazines in these people’s houses.

When you went around to see if they were home, you mean?

Luckily they weren’t home, so I sat naked in their lounge reading Huisgenoot and eating Niknaks.

I also don't buy the theory that criminals use Strava, but still  the idea that any stranger can click on my ride and see exactly where I live I find creepy

Now you just sound like my mom in the early 90's. If Days of our Lives was on the TV, you could be a middle-age woman. (I mean in her 50's, not the 1650's)

Yeah but realistically most of the 'hot chicks' using STRAVA are runners.....

Just got that dreaded notification, Uh Oh you lost a KOM!................

I always prefer losing a KOM to someone in a car as opposed someone making a legitimate effort on a bicycle...

The car oke I can just flag, the other one - not so easy...

That said - recently flagged someone who logged a ride in the car (it was obvious he forgot to turn off his Garmin after his ride) - but now I am still number 2 on the segment with no one on nr.1/KOM (ie blank) - not sure if this as an error on Strava or something new?
