Well if there are enough cyclists on the road for hijackers to just pick and choose, and if they want to know if you are home, ringing the door bell is a more accurate way than relying on Strava.... Thor Buttox Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I have semi-pro here who has all the KOM's. I took a few from him with some vomit-inducing downwind, uphill charges for fun. He then just took them back. But it took a 50km/h wind, so I am still proud of my stupidly minimal achievement. #justdoyourbest The other actual pro who has the more impressive times as a youngster who is on a Euro team. But his KOM's are all at 50-odd Kph with 103bpm HR. Some guys have made some sarcy comments about motor pacing but clearly that is just how it's done here. KOM's on the same ride on opposite directions with no HR to speak of. Weird.

The car oke I can just flag, the other one - not so easy... That said - recently flagged someone who logged a ride in the car (it was obvious he forgot to turn off his Garmin after his ride) - but now I am still number 2 on the segment with no one on nr.1/KOM (ie blank) - not sure if this as an error on Strava or something new?The missing KOM is an error on their side, for which they don’t have a time scale to resolve it. I’ve tried to contact them, and the only response is that they are aware of the problem. My name is missing from a number of leaderboards. In the starred segments is shows the KOM [emoji146] but on the activity it shows a PB only. On the leaderboard, the No.1 position is missing, and doesn’t show my position despite having cycled the segment hundreds of times. The same for other top 10 positions. I know it is just a virtual Noddy badge but still annoying when things like that go wonky.
