Todays update:

No change from yesterday - beyond surviving the bronchoscopy - she will be evaluated for liver function today, possibly including a biopsy.

There is still no confirmed diagnosis, but efforts are ongoing.

This kid is a fighter - don't forget to do what you need to do to support her and her parents! Do it twice.

Todays update:

Karmi - basically no news and still no diagnosis - waiting on results of liver biopsy and other testing is ongoing - she is still hanging in there. Remember to keep doing what you need to do to support her and her family, as well as her medical team - and to be grateful for your own families wellbeing.

2Bliss - her pancreatitis is improving following the withdrawal of her long term meds after 2 days - she has been admitted to ICU to help manage the side effects of the withdrawal, and to try to establish effective levels of the replacement medication.

Gifts are going to be bought soon. Thank you RnR.

Anyone who would like to add a message to the gift, please drop it on here. I will ask RnR to print them out and deliver them with the gifts.

If you dont like the public well wishing, then send him a PM  - but try not crash the inbox.

Hey All

If you made a donation, please drop a note on the other thread. RocknRolla will print them and add them to the gifts.

Dearest Hubbers, you are the very best! Karmi's parents are buoyed by your generous and thoughtful gift. Each is a favourite. Whilst being a distraction from their everyday stress, it is also a reminder of how many people care. Thank you, thank you!

(Taking of photos in ICU is not allowed, but mum sneaked one of Bunny with her new soft toy.)

I have to add, that from the parents side, they are completely overwhelemed with the amount of support, well wishes, and positive vibes being sent to them. I was asked to convey their gratitude.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed. There is still some money in the kitty and I will try arrange that they get something next weekend as well. This should be a huge lift me upper for them.

Just a quick thanks to RnR for getting everything to the parents. I am sure it helped lift them a little.

I dont have any updates - but I am sure they will come through.

As for 2bliss, still touch and go and when she is out ICU will get the gifts from hubbers.

Joh Slowbee!  The words "touch and go" referring to 2bliss.

Thats bad.... or just the choice of words? She has been in ICU for some time now.

Get better all.  And soon!

Thank you for doing what you did.

Todays updates - vaguely positive for a change:

Karmi - still no diagnosis - she is feeding much better and seems to be holding it down. O2 sats are in the normal range but she is still on the vent. She is smiling and interacting a little with her parents.

2Bliss  - still in ICU but responding somewhat better to new meds.

Keep doing what you need to do to help them all - still a long road ahead.

Today's update:

Karmi's condition is much the same and slightly improved as yesterday - still on the ventilator but plans are afoot to change her to a cpap machine post ct scan of her liver and spleen for a few days at least.

She is holding down nutrition, but has a small bedsore that is resolving and she is watching tv from time to time.

Still no diagnosis that I am aware of.

As to 2Bliss - no further news at all.
