Jenny Rissveds to miss World Champs

Recommended Posts

It would be a close call for Miss World Champs between Jenny and Emily Batty...just saying. But then, not discarding Miss Frizz Kate Courtney from the equation either...tough call.

Fixed that for you.

Put all three of then in the same location simultaneously, I am pretty sure that you would cause damage to the space/time continuum

(I think that this conversation should be continued on that other thread  )

People are in positions in cycling federations worldwide who do not act on behalf of riders.

Consult with your riders before you agree sponsorship deals, not massive science in this

Yes, well...

The riders aren't lining your pockets, now are they

Update on Jenny's FB page

"Hello, it's me. Messy times at the moment, no, actually not just at the moment. This has been an ongoing thing since February last year when my name got sold and contracts were unluckily signed above my head. I don't wanna hang out anybody or throw **** on anybody, that's not who I am. I'm the last one in this war who should excuse myself or apologize, but however I wanna apologize in advance to you who actually are innocent, but will get in trouble because of politics, people who are weak and people who are too proud to swallow their pride.

Please, I beg you all out there to not throw **** at POC, UCI or anyone else who actually TRIED to solve the problem and who TRIED to help myself, my team and my Swedish riding colleagues out of this. It's not about which products are the esthetically nicest, it's not about my team making money out of this, it's not about the Swedish cycling federation in general and it's not about me. This is about so much more. Either way we are all gonna lose in the end of this story, but it's fair to say I'm the one who lost the most the last one and a half year. I feel sad, I feel used and if it wouldn't be for the people around me, who's fighting day and night for my rights, I would have been deeply worried about my future. Either you take your part, you stay natural and watch it from the outside or you don't give a **** about this whole mess. But what's the most important for me to know is that all the people who brought me all the way here will bring me even further and I know that they will always keep my back, no matter what.

I'm sure the each of you who had the time to read all the way down here also know who's having my back and who's not having my back in this conflict.

Peace."

Her and Muishond getting back together ❤

I personally witnessed Die Muishond taking a selfie with Jenny at Meerendal during the Epic. Sadly I don't have any evidence of this event, you can only take photos of Die Muishond with a Blackberry (and who still has those, except for Die Muishond).

It's a sad turn of events, something like this would surely not happen at an event like SSWC's.

Well then, I am confused. What is then the crux of the whole story? What is not being said?

Something similar happened with the all blacks a number of years ago. The All Blacks were sponsored by Mizuno and all players had to wear Mizuno boots whilst playing for the All Blacks. Some players had their own boot sponsors such as Jonah Lomu, Ian Jones, Jeff Wilson and a couple others. Think their personal sponsors gave them dispensation whilst playing for the All Blacks.

or Wayde vHeerden wearing this ridiculous 361 branded suit that doesn't even come close to fitting him. That's because ASA took the money for the Olympics and that is the team kit.. Somehow he still broke the world record, I'd give him and extra 1/4 second for running in that piece of crap.

Weird that on both events they miss-spelled his surname.......

I had this at world champs. What you just do is cover the other sponsors name or colour it all black. Its a loop hole, as you cannot wear another brand, but if its a blank, then its chilled. Lots of black tape and black markers. :P

My 2c - if the nation pays for everything then I reckon they have the right to demand the athlete use the matjons equipment. Sponsors sponsor athletes in their peraonal capacity not their national capacity.

National events only happen once or twice a year - I can't see how a reasonable sponsor wouod have a problem with that...
