Her "perceived" arrogance seems to rub people up the wrong way but she's an amazing athlete and when she's healthy everyone else is racing for 2nd.

I think she is pretty awesome. Despite winning non stop for years she stays fit, stays sharp, keeps pushing and is actually really amped for the other girls to push her and compete. Instead of stooping, she has pushed the other women to seriously up their game and it's starting to show. I like Raechel. She always comes across as amped and psyched and super enthusiastic which is amicable for someone who really had very little competition for so long. I think Rat Boy comes across as arrogant... Won some stuff, didn't really have the work ethic to stay on top, some stuff went against him so "nah.. I'm done for now"... But that's just me...

I remember there is someone else here who also takes heavy exception to Ratboy. Regarding Atherton, I do think she became quite cocky. Listen to some of her interviews. Like I've said before, there is a reason she's not particularly liked among her peers. The other riders can probably attest to her character a lot more than we can. All that being said, she has had a positive influence on the other Elite women. They've really upped their game.

I think she has handled her handicap really well this year, almost content to be giving the others a chance, she has even been talking about Enduro.I have never felt she has come across arrogant in interviews, she is always smiling and affable. And there she was rooting on the girls at the Mt St Anne XCO. In fact all those downhiller girls are cool in my book. Ratboy... I concur with Jewbacca, good riddance. Fokof.
