SwissVan Posted October 12, 2017 Share There is a couple of 02h40 runners and sub 8 hour finishers in the group. Gone are the days of winning this race by big margins. A single drafting penalty can cost you the race. Heck a flat tyre that gets replaced immediately can cost you the race. I can push you from the front of the field back to 30th. I think the think what also sets Kona apart is the wind and heat. I am going 1. Frodo2. Kienle3. Patrick Lange4. Patrik Nilsson5. Ben Hoffman6. Bart Aernouts5. James C Woman 1. Angry Bird2. Joyce3. Good picks Gummy James is not targeting Kona this year. This does however take pressure off him to go for a win so he should definitely get a top 10 spot. Who knows if he is close to the leaders off the bike anything can happen. gummibear
