Sure.

On an unrelated note. I'd stock up on cleaning agents if I were you. Especially those good at removing fruit sediment from walls, floors, ceilings and beds.

It's a good thing I wasn't drinking coffee when I read that! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Thinking about today's stage, the Afrikaans saying comes to mind: "Vandag gaan die koring van die kaf geskei word".

Ja... or as us commoners say

Vandag gaan die *** spat

TBH I hope something exciting happens and it’s not all left to the TT... everyday waiting and watching for the GC riders to fight it out and nothing much happens irritates me

Today is the Froome big move day. My TDF fantasy team is one rider down but we're on the move.

Biggest question is probably who is gonna pop today... We know the moves are gonna come, but who is gonna drop out of Top3, Top5 and Top 10....

Dude, he did one cartwheels... by the time he hit the wall he was doing no more than 20kph.

If he was doing 90 he would have landed on the other side of the valley.

I was talking about when he was entering the corner not the actual crash as he grabbed the brakes. He had to scrub speed because he was a) carrying too much and b) was on the wrong line through the corner. Had he been carrying less speed into the corner he might've been able to save himself from crashing.

I had a good few looks at the crash and recon he got a big oh $hit surprise and for that split second was deer in the headlights.

If he had not unclipped and kept his weight back over the rear wheel thus not doing a nose wheelie he just might have been able keep himself road side of the wall.

:whistling: Wonder if they'll turn that into Salbutamol Gate 2.0... suppressing pain

No chance of that happening, everybody like the  Wolfpack.

So rumours are that Gilbert was on pain killers pre crash... May have even caused the crash.

Nah... he just overcooked it and was riding to fast

Blame it on the top tube aero racing position according to LA.... lol

Today is yellow for Froome I reckon. He may have ridden a few GTs but he has ridden very little else.

Third week Froome legs are impressive and I think he has better 3 week stage race control with lower fatigue than the others.

Froome's time loss to the Gee = 1:39

stage 1 crash - 51secs

stage 11 win - 20secs

stage 12 win - 4secs

time bonus credits - 19secs

So on the actual road, GT is only 29seconds ahead, and a lot of that can just be tactical.

The Giro-Tour double is almost impossible to pull off, maybe the extra week made it happen but I don't think anyone knows what is really going to go down...which makes it that much more enticing!

Have you done that calculation for Dumoulin yet?

Thought Froome was going to attack yesterday? :whistling: .......... I'm guessing he will just sit GT today again.

I am not sure that this is a sit and do nothing stage. I, for one, am expecting lots of drama today.
