That knee  looks like someone else's.

This grid start is such a waste of time... everyone is just going to group up and fall back into their teams... GC riders don't know any other way and I doubt they are going to race from their grid positions.

Its going to be like:

Start gun: "Bang!"

* everyone clipping in getting their balance, riders getting in each others way... shouting..."HOLD YOUR LINE!" more clipping in... everyone braking for the oke that is still trying to clip in....

back to peloton formation...

So pretty much like all our group starts at our local fun-ride national champs...

Don't be preposterous.  If it was anything like a local fun ride there would be about 150 riders squeezing in right in the front when the start gun fires.  This is France, they will peperspray them into order

If it was like the local races, Pure Savage would just start outside the chute and in front of the matts, making sure for the best crossing the start matt photos...

TummyD is going to struggle... will have to wheel surf until the cavalry arrives... that is if his cavalry can catch up  (and I call myself a team sunweb fan  )

I also see it like that.  What if CF hits the first climb well and then descends like crazy and then only maintain the gap (if there is one) to the end.  One wonders.

Then that will be EVIDENCE that he is doping

I actually wish they had this stage in the first week, like the day after the TTT. Would have been a lot more effective and would have made the first week more interesting.

And he still completed the stage. Respect or Stupid? Non the less he is no relative of Neymar for sure.

And sadly doesn't get paid anywhere near enough for his efforts! Unlike those footballing pansies that think they are athletes!

CF already stated earlier in the week that he will be riding and supporting GT!!  TD is going to be isolated, so he is either going to attack or sit on (more likely), either way CF and GT will just need to keep and eye, stick to their game plan, possibly soft pedal as contenders mark them until the sky train arrives.

Only option for TD is to attack and just isolate CF and GT which will suit them as they can mark him and have been the strongest in the mountains.  Only if GT starts taking strain will CF likely attack to gain time on TD and keep Sky in yellow.

The more interesting alternative is that GF and GT take it in turns to attack TD who will have to cover all of them if he has his sights set on yellow in Paris.  TD going to have the harder day today!

Didn't he just say he would if he had to? They just asked him "would you?", big difference between that and "will you?"

Don't they have a service where the cat can stay overnight for observation...? Probably worth it..

I always thought cats can find their way back home by themselves.  :whistling:

There would also be someone trying to take a dump at the start banner
