Me, Dan Craven(my team mate at the time) and nolan behind. You would think as fastest its up to Nolan to chase(although Dan and I new our boy ahead was a sitting Duck). Nolan sitting wheel all the time So i pul up next to him ans ASK "You afraid of the wind?" and Nolan replies "Yes Man". Almost shat myself laughing that day.At least he was honest. Louis is likely to be on his own else demoted to domestique for Ben, same as now Chaves will be for Yates! Any dreams of him being let loose to go for stage wins is a pipe dream, apart from it's not in his nature and currently doesn't possess that killer instinct... he just doesn't have the form! He gets well paid to do a job, his job is to entertain Tom, Dick and Harry. Yes LM rides a bike but the only reason he gets paid to ride a bike is because we watch him. It's a tough crowd but we want him and DD to deliver. If they don't he may very well find himself looking for a new job and based on his current performance it would be a fetch and carry water bottle job. It would be nice to see him ride aggressively on occasion instead of staying at back following wheels, even if they are seriously good wheels. But seriously, you might have a point. Based on his recent TDF efforts and u23 WC Louis has been quite rightly been put in the lime light and now he is suffering the fall out. I would love to know why he lost so much time yesterday, was it because he simply could not keep up or because he was sluiping right at the back and got caught out being to far back to bridge the gap? People maybe tired from the full gas racing yesterday but it's a tricky stage & nice ramp at the end. The fact it's a cat 4 belies nasty sting in the tail, could be a good day for Yates to carve a little more time today. I wonder if we'll see lead out trains on either side of the road coming into the intermediate sprint for another Yates / Pinot show down today. He attacks the Inters for bonus time, learned to TT etc, i think this is what has made most Saffas look at LM and say , JUST DO SOMETHING , PLEASE!
