I am surprised so few people have picked up on this tragedy for the GOAT and Fort William?

It's (almost) made me not want to bother watching this weekend's race. (I said ALMOST!)

if so few saffas have realized Mr Minn should've won SA sportsmans of the year  gajillion times already, what's the chances they gonna realize he grazed his forearm?

But if you are genuinely put off by the lack of coverage, but hit the repeat button on this little gem: magic without any illusions.

Saw it yesterday and just sighed. His season not off too a good start. That said I often, when talking to work colleagues or friends who aren't mountain bikers, refer to the GOAT as the best sportsman they've never heard of. Mr Minn and his achievements are very under appreciated by many of us saffers.

I'm afraid his season is now over. This is what is wrong with the WC at the moment. A couple of bad results and your season is over. It needs to be longer.

All he can do now is go for some wins and champs.

Agreed 100%. Thing is Greg is more than good enough to get something out of this season besides going for the overall, although most of us would love to see him win it at least one more time. And I reckon Lenzerheide suits him well enough so a 4th Worlds title isn't out of the question and it be good to see him in the rainbow hoops again.

Rainbow hoops = World Champ. Definitely backing Mr Minn to be able to get a 4th World Championship win at Lenzerheide.

Those deadly pedal strikes. Must be the no 1 cause of busted bones and things in MTB.

And No1 excuse for those embarrassing moments when you find yourself on the ground for no real reason and your friends are asking 'what did you just do?'

And pressure is now on Luca Shaw and Loris Vergier to get some results.

I listened to a VitalMTB podcast with Kathy Sessler and she said Greg has always been the Syndicate's consistent racehorse and that the young guys will need to step into his shoes when GM retires.

She also mentioned how she'd love to have Bruni on the team. Imagine Bruni,Vergier and Shaw on the Syndicate. Mal.

before that happens, I hope Vergier comes into his own. Back when he and Loic were teamies, he seemed to almost shy away from the limelight in deference of his friend and then top team rider.
