Residue getting stuck on shock stanchion

So after the Cradle Mountain Trophy, I saw some residue (dust) getting stuck on my shock stanchions.

Decided to take bike for full service seeing that it was time for some tlc.

Dropped the bike and specifically mentioned the dust that gets stuck on the stanchion.

Bike got serviced, I paid and collected the bike. Did 2 training rides (45km each) between then and this weekends Trailseeker.

After Trailseeker the above issue have gotten worse. Right back to the bike shop for them to have it sorted.

Just got the call from the tech saying that the below is normal?

Not normal - get that fork and seals properly serviced before they self destruct

When you say bike got serviced, did they service the fork? The seals look poked

Rockshox Revelation on your Camber?

Reason I ask is that mine is doing the same thing. My bike is a year old this week, so I guess it's time to have the shock serviced.

Truth be told, I am not too impressed with the level of service from Spez these days. I am getting the same typical BS from them about other annoying issues on my bike.

Get that serviced. Yesterday. RS are tough, but that one is in danger of self destructing.

Serviced 160km before the pics were taken. Shop phoned earlier to convince me that it is normal...

If you believe your LBS over the advice given on the hub..... Please do not come here in the near future asking how to fix friction rub and scratches on your fork.... you will only be told we told you so!

Find a new LBS who know what they are talking about!

I do not believe what they are telling me. Hence me asking for advice.

I got my advice that I was looking gor and will revert back to them as soon as they return my calls.
