Neff gave the race away,even though i am not a big neff fan,she gave it away just before the sprint. It seemed that she was speaking,or saying something to langvad,then annika took advantage of the gap,and that is how neff lost the sprint. Good race though.

I love Neff. Bummed she lost but it was a great race so kudos to Langvad.

Nino is being pushed more and more, which is good for the sport. Not as dominant as before.

Sad for MvdP to fall and hurt his wrist again. I feel for Gaze, in terms of hurting his arm, but I just cannot bring myself to feel for him not racing. He is still just so arrogant. He even tried to jump the start. That kid in a man's body needs to grow up some more. Anton Cooper was great, and he gave N1NO a good go. I think we are still to see some great races from him. Neff was also unlucky to just miss the win, but Langvad also had a great race. I was also very stoked for Emily Batty. she showed some class making it through the field on that tough course.

I dunno. He showed a bit of mettle today. He was clearly hurt... And then to try and carry on for a lap or 2... Good on him...a kid would have thrown his toys out the cot and gone and sulked. Oh.... He did that initially... But turned it around quickly

Matt: No news on that injury as yet - maybe he needs to take time off for it to heal properly but clearly he is up for a Nino challenge. Was surprised with the good result for Anton, and that was really close. Good news for the Trek Team with Emily's good result as well.

 

Yo!anda really gave it horns, but not much she can do against the Lang one's sprint.  Best try and drop her earlier or wear her out, although that's possibly not going to happen anytime soon, although Anika tends to wane as the season progresses.

 

Awesome to see such close racing, and people winning because they are the best on the day.
