Cool Bike!

I see you are are also 1.91m. Did you go with the the L or XL? I am on a XL Following V1 and the fit is perfect even though the sizing chart suggests that I should be a L.

I find that the sizing chart for the Evil bikes are a bit off.  I am 1.87m and I rode a large demo Following V1 for about a month.  As much as I wanted the large to be the correct size (special running on the frame) it was definitely to small for me.  I ended up buying the XL Following MB.  If it was not for Brenton, @Bibi, that let me test the bike for so long I would have ended up with a large frame and not a happy Evil rider.

I'm deffing go for this combo to see what it's like. Have the DHF already and CWC have a special on the 2.3 Agg'. Any reason you didn't go the 2.5?

I had an E-thirteen trs 2.35" front and back on my Following MB.  The clearance with the 2.35" was enough but only just.  The 2.5" will be a big gamble and I think you will end up replacing it with the 2.3".  Maybe it will be fine in the dry but in the mud you will definitely have a problem.

Congrat's. That is one awesome looking bike. Now I know why he didn't finish my wheels!

Runnin the Agg 2.3/DHR2 2.4 combo on mine, DHF 2.5 waiting to go on the front when the DHR is tired. I wouldn't go 2.5 Agg on the rear - clearance is tight back there, especially in terain where rocks get into the tread, I've scratched up the back of my seat tube propperly already.

Agree with this. I am 1.78m and bought a Medium because of the sizing chart (I am smack bang in the middle of the range for Medium), and it is quite a bit too small for me - now running a 60mm stem with 800mm bars for it to fit. I love the bike, but really wish I had spent some time on a demo model, definitely would go Large if I could have a do-over.

If I was 1.9m a Large wouldn't even be a consideration for me.

Just got my Following MB on Friday. Absolutely loving it. Massive thanks to @Bibi and the guys at Trailtech and Stoke, top top bunch of guys.

Watch the build here:

Got the Aggressor 2.3 on the back and the DHF 2.5 up front. Still settling into the bike but my confidence is going quickly.

Many happy trails dude

Cheers... so that scratched up seat tube is a thing then. I thought people were joking. Not idea. Bette remake sure I have some helitape there and on the inside of the chain stays. I think I'll go 2.3 on peoples recommendation. I did chat to Trailtech today and they said that they've tested most tyres and most sizes and the 2.5 should fit but I'd rather not take the risk.

I'm 5'9" on a good day and I bought a large based on Bibi's advice and it was spot on. I'm still finding it awesomely playful. I think I would have felt very cramped on a M V1 especially coming off the Orange.

Any Evils at the Ezel and how did they go?

As PhillipV mentioned my day didn't go quite to plan - about 200m into stage 4 I decided to jump over my bars and inspect some rocks, in the process slaming the bike right down on brand new and shiny GX Eagle deraillieur - but the hanger did it's job and snapped. Was the end of my day but the deraillier got away with only scratches.

But in all honesty, I can't fault the bike for that - it performed very well. Had it set up in low (Evil's high), and 140mm of travel - that's how it will stay for the time being. I don't think I will be finding this bike's limit any time soon. Tackling Ezel with 120mm of rear travel (whilst weighing in at 105kg kitted up) and never feeling under-gunned is a testament to just how capable these bike really are!

As far as I know CJVan was the only other guy on an Evil (both of us on Following MBs), and he gunned it - completed all of the stages, quite fast at that!
