You guys ever heard of Wazoogles? Its a natural powder based entirely on superfoods. You get different flavors but I like the vanila. You mix the powder with milk, add 2 bananas, 2 tbl spoons raw oats, 2 tbl spoons peanut butter and small spoon of honey. Blend and enjoy. I could not believ the results. You feel fantastic! Pop a banana, some biltong and a Wazoogle Berry Fruit Bar in the back picket and ride as far as you want to. My wife is the agent for Wazoogles so I was forced to try it. I cant imagine ever using anything else again.

What a lot of wazoogles !!

Pray tell me how you carry that on a ride - ziploc bag ??

For 100km rides, I will consume a Banana and a Nakd bar. Nakd bars are all natural foods and are 43% dates. For longer rides, I will eat a banana and a bar or two and some trail mix!

When riding the DC I ate mostly banana, banana bread, biltong and cashews.

Talking of bees... what happened to the honey sachets?

You can put honey into zip lock bags.  To make it less gel like you can mix in fruit juice, such as lemon or grapefruit.

Just be careful with your honey, as it could be just Chinese syrup as well........

I have this powder, all you do is slice two banana's, mix it with a handful of dried cranberries/dates/raisins, a handful of crushed nuts, a few tablespoons of honey, a bit of dark chocolate chips to taste and a bit of flour to bind, role into balls (if you want you can back at 230% for 30 minutes) and place in individual ziplock bags.  Then you have these amazing whole food snacks

Oh about the powder, I forgot what it is, but anyway.......

Quite amazing how many people make their own mystery ball concoctions, they always make it sound like its a two minute job, dont know why but I just find the idea to be a bit of a mission and with so many components.... Well no.

Sandwich still sounds like a better option with dates or dried fruit. ( fruit separate, not rolled into the sarmie).

Not saying mystery balls are bad, just not for me.

Easiest thing I've found is Woolies hot cross buns, with peanut butter and honey on them. They don't go all squishy like bread tends to, and they taste dandy.
