What a coincidence! My "personalized" offers are exactly the same [emoji14]

 

What do you guys make of these offers though? What are the chances that these are actually their black Friday deals that they're sending out early as "personalized offers" to the 50GB crowd so that they can renew their contracts? (Kinda hoping someone has some inside info)

I tried getting more info from the sales guy with no luck.

My answer would be yes, any SIM in the router. But these cellular providers are a very clever bunch.

And unless you are currently on the Black Friday deal, you probably won't be offered this deal

I got a sim only contract when the 50GB deal was on and put it in a router I got from Afrihost years ago and used it for home wifi, and I know a guy who did the same with a Telkom router he had lying around, so I assume you can put the sim card in anything. I also assume it's LTE, but not 100% sure. Probably depends on your signal strength.

I think I should've waited for black Friday..I bought a new washing machine today.(I forgot about black Friday)...okay we need clean clothes and my little 5kg LG finally gave in after 16 years..

 

(Tax refund and PnP smart shopper points paid for it though.)

 

Bet you the damn thing will be more than R1000 cheaper come Black Friday[emoji24]

I've been following the new Galaxy Watch for a few weeks now. The best price I saw for it was R5499 at Makro. (Other places under R5000, but without the 2 year warranty) I decided I'll wait for Black Friday to hopefully pick it up for less. Yesterday looking at it again on the Makro website, the price is suddenly R5999. They will probably sell it for R5399 on Black Friday and call it a 11% saving instead of a 1% saving. They did the same thing last year when I was eyeing to buy a Canon camera for my wife.

I see Evobikes have also launched their Black Friday Deals. They are adding products daily until the 23rd which is then Black Friday. I am sure they will have some great deals up until then and then on Black Friday itself.
