Edereese Posted November 26, 2018 Share Good day Hubbers, Was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction. On Friday I purchased an item. Went through the online purchase system, added item to cart, paid and received my receipt. Everything went well and at around 17H00 I received an email saying that the item is no longer in stock and was offered something else. I am not happy with offered item, but I feel if I don't take it I will probably walk away with a refund and a big F U! The other option is to accept replacement and learn to love it over time. I appreciate all feedback.

I don't trust specials...let alone Black Friday. eddy
Edereese Posted November 27, 2018 Share So... after a few emails between myself and the salesman, no harsh words, no attitude, just exceptional service!! They offered me a replacement that was not part of Black Friday sale and of the latest stock as an apology. Thumbs up ASG Paarl Store Also, choosing to not shop there would be like cutting off my nose to spite my face as I like the store and the products so the refund was not an option. We try to resolve. CAAD4 Posted November 27, 2018 Share Great that it worked out. Every sale has its limits and T&C's, except those stores that have permanent "Closing down Sale" signs...
Pure Savage Posted November 27, 2018 Share We got some great service from the number 1 retailer online, popped some 4000's into cart, clicked pay and price popped up. Quick email and they honored the price when it was added to cart. So I am happy to say that post cyclelab purchase, the prices and customer service at CWC is still top notch. sunchaser and Pusher

I appreciate all feedback. I know that one of the smaller on-line stores in the Western Cape took orders even when stock ran out, and will honour their BF prices. Yes, it may mean a few days wait in some cases, but they stand by what they sold. So much better than those that put 2 or 3 units of BF special items on sale .... Now they hope you will buy something else or a refund. As an online retailer they should have been totally aware of how much stock they did not maybe have. I say you call them up, and go hardball. Tell them to honour the price. Get the stock at the BF price. Dont let them hide behind "till stocks last". Even better, tell them you want in item of even higher value that they have in stock at the moment and get an even bigger discount. An online store not knowing what stock levels are does not cut it. If they wont play game, name and shame.
