I tried tofu for the first time this week (made by a vegan that has it often) - will not be having it again, horrible stuff.

Tofu can be a hit and miss. No doubt about that. It's like most foods, it takes some practice to get it right, but once you do...

You should try tempeh. Also so good.

I'm already going to vegan hell.

Lots of dairy (6L of milk + 3 kg of yogurt a week + cheese), meat twice a day, 2+ eggs/day, and plenty of avos and about 1 kg of almonds a month.

I love going to churches and yelling HAIL SATAN!

Going to feminism rallies and yelling "grab them by the kitten" is also a hoot!

Yes sir. To what extreme does veganism end for you? Fossil fuels? Leather shoes? Leather car seats? I am certainly not advocating the seriousness of what you have mentioned. Only the fact of what each individual chooses to sit on what side of what fence. Catching an aeroplane could even upset the most rigorous of vegans?

I'm not a vegan, but a vegetarian.

I find veganism more difficult than I thought.

I'm sitting in NYC after taking a flight from LHR. Unfortunately in my tiny world employment takes precedence.

i am in a similar situation.

We vegan as much as possible but when travelling we make allowances for vegetarian.

It’s not a perfect system but it’s the best we can do.

And I think that’s important. Even though it’s not a perfect system I believe it’s significantly better than the alternative.

I think most rational people are in the same boat.

A 90% reduction in "bad" stuff is 90% better than no attempt at all!
