Sparki 1 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Well done sir David, you've almost made your 24hr deadline, but I would've been dead before the line if I had to do this killer of a expedition. It seems he didn't make the Everest record let alone his 24hr target. He needed to do 20 rounds and only managed 14 according to the posts. Not sure if I missed anything. Still a MASSIVE long ride. Sorry, my bad. in post number 159 it seems he did make it but not under 24hrs. Well done FRAIL.

dirtypot Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I hate to be the bad guy here, but I'm confused. Why did you stop at 14 laps? All of the calculations beforehand showed that you'd need to do 20 laps to get to the Everest total. Unfortunately no amount of Strava elevation fixing is going to add the missing 2400m needed. Your Strava ride is pretty close in terms of true elevation gain.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's a big ride, not an Everest one.
