Rugby is not the Olympics where you compete for a medal, only the cup matters.I hear you, but I still think one should accept the silver medal with dignity (it is Japan after all, the land that invented it), smile, thank the incredibly polite hosts, congratulate the winner, go home and THEN throw the bloody thing in a drawer with all your cycling medals where you never have to look at it for the rest of your life.
