I was hoping to see Marcel Kittel lite there. He was excellent in the Giro last year.

AFAIK he will be going to the Vuelta. The kid is so good.. flip he is fast and powerful [emoji33]

Currently at the Binch Bank tour

Wonder if he will be at Roubaix [emoji848]

No wait he cant be at Roubaix as the Vuelta would've started already.. oh this calender is messy[emoji1787]

I have every confidence Bus driver Francesco Villa will keep up with the other buses

Have you ever been on a tour bus in Italy?  My nerves were shot after an excursion from Rome to Assissi and back. And I'm used to JHB traffic!!

Sagz Baby in the magia rosa would be cool, hey.

Lol not unless he all of a sudden can smash the ITT on stage 1[emoji6]

He says he will try for a stage win.. but they are there for GC and the rest ([emoji171])..day by day[emoji1696][emoji6]

What a weird profile for a Grand Tour opening TT.

15km in length.

The BIG guys should take this one. Ganna will be difficult to beat on his current form.

you, you talka my language... Capesh! :D Not as sharp as yester year but I wonder if Sagan didn't have to loose out on those points earlier in the tour would he held off Sam, will never know?, I sure would not want to win the green jersey if my closest rival had points taken away, not exactly playing fields of square but hey, its bike racing! A cruel cruel sport.

Short and sweet, but weather will play a part as Summer is gone... :(

Too long to be prologue but just long enough to cause concern [emoji51]

We'll hear the normal..you can't win it today but sure can lose it.[emoji1787]

It will be a concern for many mountain stages.. the threat that stages will be cancelled, altered or shortened due to weather is very real.. Stelvio is already under snow and temps plummeted [emoji24]

Must be a DH MTBer who designed this course.....

With all the fresh snow I’m seeing in the alps, I worry about the big mountain stages being canceled or shortened.... the Stelvio climb on stage 18 tops out at 2750m.... currently our snowfall level is a lot lower than that with plenty of fresh snow evident

Ah well, it would be good if a non specialist climber could win a grand tour for once

Wishful thinking I know
