That's my understanding too. (mask or buff)

Having seen some pics of the masses of walkers/runners on Sea Point promenade (assuming legit), don't be surprised if the relaxing of this lockdown rule is quickly withdrawn again. (like cigarettes)

The issue here is, if you have to cover your nose as well then what will the Cape Town Super-Pro`s do? The Super-Pro has to, and I mean, HAS TO!! blow snot-rockets when they are 2 metres past you with-out ever looking as that is what being Pro-Cool is all about. How are these disgusting pricks going to able to ride?

Got my sexy ciovita masks yesterday. Very comfy.

Can you breathe comfortably with the Ciovita mask on (while cycling). I am considering buying a set to use specifically for cycling.

Thanks

The problem is you can't wear a buff and sunglasses at the same time - they fog up.

Same problem with normal masks.  We are at least not required to wear masks when move outside of shops but in shops and public transport we have to have the mask on and then I just put the glasses on the head while in the shop.

I’ve been wearing a buff through many winters without glasses misting up (clear and sunny’s).

I wear buffs while riding between mid April and generally mid August ... Always had throat issues riding in cold weather.

I have no problem with misting up glasses most of the time, only time it happens is on really really steep climbs where I'm going pretty slow ... Then I just pull it down a bit till I get to the top and it's ok again

Here's my thoughts,

You can still breathe when wearing a mask / buff so best to wear one to reduce excuses to ban exercise.

If it gets difficult either

1. Reduce intensity

2. Suck it up it'll make your lungs stronger

3. Put the buf down and then pull it up again if you see any police

Yes, something to cover your face

So a bufff is probably what most people opt for

Mu buff was so not lekker towards the end. Will try my shopping mask tomorrow.

How long did yours take to get delivered from when you ordered? I ordered a bit over a week ago and haven't received anything yet...

Same for me. I wear a buff most times, mainly to keep the cold and the wind out of my ears.
