So what has happened to the Chit Chat Topics?

Ja, I don't venture into the chit chat section at all anymore. I see it as a place full of Whoopie Goldberg Hyenas that the sun hasn't touched in years.

 

I definitely like Pets, Woodworking and Music! I like the latter 2 so much I'm bust building a solid body electric Ukelele at the moment! I have scaled it as a mini Les Paul, to match my Special and my Junior.....

Wooden guitars? Pffft, I only play steel framed guitars. Sure they are heavy, but they are also more supple and just have a better feel. 

 

But seriously, pics...

I'm going to ask if the 'chit chat' section is actually necessary.

 

It seems a lot of anger and mud slinging goes on there, then those with common beliefs and ideas about life tend to form little gangs there and bring those gangs and anger across to the bike related topics.

 

I kinda think a lot of fence sitter users are put off by that side of the website.

 

I know the calling card of 'community' will be thrown at me, but it is a bike website and some of the chit chat drivel is so bad even Facebook would be embarrassed

I don't ride my bike anymore... So I'm all chit chat... And the running thread

There are some good topics in the Chit-Chat section. Shows the diverse nature of each member, as some non-cycling topics are interesting and others... not so much. Even following a topic just for the valuable information is worth it.
