This can be the year that someone wears Pink from start to finish...

Maybe, just maybe...

Blasphemy.. Don't say things like that about the beautiful Giro.

Agreed on all fronts. But I do think someone will pip Ganna to the line.

Say... someone that won two ITT's in 2020 and finished 2nd at the 2019 UCI World TT, beating Ganna by 46 seconds over a 54km course.

Day 1 ITT - ~8km of manic frenzy methinks. Ganna's last few have been a bit woeful, but i think he'll bounce back and be in pink. he's a strong lad so should be able to hold it for a good while i think.

first weeks sprints are going to be interesting. Ewan is really good, but I'd prefer someone else - any of the Italian sprinters will want to impress on home soil, or Merlier who's had some good finishes this year so far. I think Groenewegen has a point to prove after this suspension.

I can't be certain, but I suspect working from home will take on a distinct red/white/green tinge the next few weeks

The last two were up legit hills and some cobbles though.

I think he puts the stomp down and dominates stage 1.

Can't help but associate that with the ol' SABC 'no broadcast' graphic

Takes me back to childhood.

The gold one was cool in a showy off way. But yoh this blue is sexy

Edit: 'fairly large' front chainring too....

Do you know the Ineos theory behind a larger chainring?

53/11 gives a 4.73m rolllout

60/13 gives a 4.62m rollout

53/13 gives a 4.08m rollout

57/14 gives a 4.07m rollout

A bigger front chainring and smaller gear at teh back gives a straighter chain line, which is known to save a few watts @marginalgains

Won this shirt, in a lucky draw, way back when. Doesn’t matter if I support him or not, the shirt is cool to where this time every year.

This is the most beautiful Grand Tour, @Chris_.

The most commercial and hyped is the Tour'.

The most and unpredictable one is the Vuelta, where redemption is on offer.

Yoh! This Foss kid just lay it down, going to be difficult to beat.

JV may just start with Pink.

Sorry, I actually meant discipline. Time trialing is just poetry in motion. Aggressive, but just incredible.

The speeds we're seeing are stupendous.

100% agree though on the grand tour. Italy is my spiritual home.
