Gen Posted May 9, 2021 Share Thank goodness for proper barriers at the Giro!Indeed else GAVIRIA would've been man down.. What a bugger up between the 2 teammates. Vetplant

Was boxed in and was forced to go for the closing gap. Should have stayed on Merlier's wheel Gen
Chris_ Posted May 9, 2021 Share Real k@k (non)straight finish I thought. More than anything I really thought Groenewegen should have had that. Could have done without that weird sit-up moment. (And probably needed 50m more anyway) Overall though, I've honestly never seen such a jovial, chatty, chilled 150km group ride in my life Edited May 9, 2021 by Chris_ Sid the Sloth

'Dale Posted May 9, 2021 Share Like finishing on the spine of a serpent. Geez, so technical.Excellent display of courage by Groenewegen to be back at the sharp end of a sprint finalè. The Entertainer’s turn tomorrow in a stage that favours him? Hmmm. Let’s see. lechatnoir Posted May 10, 2021 Share prediction for today - Ewan, as much as that pains me. It seems lumpy and after his showing in Milan- San Remo, but can certainly make it work. that goes on the assumption that there's a break towards the end. if not, all bets are off Eldron and Vetplant
Frosty Posted May 10, 2021 Share I picked Caleb for yesterday’s stage, on the Cyclingtips fantasy thingymajiggy. As their rules only allows picking the rider once, I went with Nizzolo for today.

I don't know if it was just the angle yesterday but his handlebars looked Campenaerts-narrow and almost track-like in their shape. Very cool. We went through the stages on Friday and said he'd win.. Finished and klaar.. Said Groenewegen would get podium probably third as he would be a bit rusty and nervous and Sagan 5th..my kid, he knows things.
