Long Wheel Base Posted March 18, 2021 Share Many years ago, was still at school around 2001/2002, Bicycling had a orange Parlee as most expensive bike, was then around R230-R250K. Enjoy your Parlee and best of luck with the brand. Ah, the good old days. I've wanted a parlee since around then.I just googled the brand. They were founded in 2000. So you have been a fan since inception basically. https://parleecycles.com/bob-parlee/ Furbz, TNT1 and DJuice

So you have been a fan since inception basically. https://parleecycles.com/bob-parlee/ Yep, Bob Parlee the founder came across to bikes with years experience in building high performance boats and yachts.Parlee were the first to build a bike frame under 900grams. not long after they broke under 800grams. A little known fact, Parlee bikes have been ridden in a few Grand Tours painted to look like sponsor bikes (trek and look) TNT1, Long Wheel Base and gummibear

Furbz Posted March 18, 2021 Share When is it not? It's still the first thing any of us does when looking at a bike.picks it up and uses their internal scale to judge if its rubbish or not My 2020 Madone with Red AXS powermeter, Zipp NSW 454's, bottle cages and garmin mount weighs a rather fat 8.255kgsIt will go under 8kgs with my Roval Rapide wheels with Tubolitos but only just.Yet the Madone is one of two of the most comfortable bikes i have ever ridden.and i'll take it every day over my older 6.8kg Ritte Ace. the other bike is my fathers Mason Resolutionhttps://masoncycles.cc/shop/categories/resolution-bikes The Parlee is going up against some serious competition - i cannot wait to find out how it measures up gummibear, Long Wheel Base and DJuice

Furbz Posted March 18, 2021 Share Starting to look a bit more like a bike! I have finally sourced a BB for this bike.Hens teeth! - took me a good number of hours and calls to hunt one down. The store also have stock of the Sram Road brake hoses. which are also hens teeth. These parts are the only outstanding bits i need to complete the build Still deciding if i just collect the parts and complete the build myself or dropping the bike off to be completed by the shop.At least if they do it i will have the opportunity to ride it this weekend. splat, Mopkop, Jakkals. and 4 others

Furbz Posted March 18, 2021 Share as mentioned, nice wine room, too many full racks for my taste. Exceptional looking bike; but for me, your crowning achievement, building at your front door, respect The first lockdown did wonders for my wine collection - many brilliant wines came up at unbelievable discount. so i stocked up hard! Then not long after my wife fell pregnant and i am now forced to drink good wine alone You should see my dining room table/work bench... I've dropped the bike off to be completed at my LBS.how long do you think i can let it live in the house before i get into trouble? Duane_Bosch Posted March 18, 2021 Share For all that moola you get a fully custom bike.We measure you up in full and the frame custom manufactured entirely to your spec.I do not see a big market for that in RSA...in the US and Europe they are selling very well.I think you might be pleasantly surprised. There's a good few Cayenne drivers down this end of the world who are SOOOO bored of riding the SAAME old Dogma F12 as all of their other mates. Good luck with the brand and the build. Looks amazing.
