Hey Guys,

Checking my garage, I found this beauty from the 90's (Wheeler E11 Titanium). The truth is, I have no intention of using it, that's why I did maintenance on it and I'm thinking of putting it on sale, but I don't have the slightest idea of how much it can be worth. Can you suggest prices? Attached pictures

Thanks

How does one sell such a stunning bike, and more importantly one with so many great memories, for so little?

It's a bit of a left field suggestion, but if you're kids are not going to ride it, make another great memory and donate it to someone who needs a bike?

I never realized that Wheeler made a titanium frame.

Weird. I remember when I realized that they didn't exclusively make Ti frames.

It may be tough with canti brakes to get the pads and rim lined up...

Lol...If there is one thing that was the best thing ever for MTB, it was disc brakes!

google was not my friend so please help bogus - a link or whatever

I have a tandem gravel bike project and want to change from 26 to 29 or 27.5 if I must

A disc conversion is first prize but I have to work it all out with limited knowledge and skills

Hi Wayne

They are mainly from China but with the current state of affair in terms of shipping from there i would rather buy on Amazon. Mucg safer and the shipping is actually very quick. Mostly via DHL and delivered in some cases in under a week from state side.

Here is a link to a similar adapter available on Amazon ( same manufacturer as the earlier one i posted)

For a disc brake convertion you could use one of these on the frame. How sturdy they are I cannot say as I have not used one before and Im a bit sceptical BUT I have read a few reviews where people have used them without any issues.... If you Google a bit I see there is more robust version around but I have not found any for sale yet....
