Darryl Impey in the GCN Eurosport commentary team.

great insights

His insights are mostdef somewhat sharper than those of the usual suspects and more directly relevant.  With maybe half a dozen immediately accessible live coverage choices, he’s made it my go-to channel.

How Pogacar is still interested in riding ten min down. I have so much respect

He's a prize fighter, has a champion mindset, and is as tough as titanium nails. Winning RvV and podiuming at le Tour, while breaking a precariously located wristband or two, remarkable.

Team UAE showing real depth. Of course the 'Killer Bees' too.

Can Jumbo' be the first team to conquer all 3 Grand Tours in one calendar year? Ons gaan sien.

2 out of 3 already.... These two are enough?

I reckon it's cool. They win bike races, not just drone control. Classics, Monuments, Stages.... They throw in their lot and win.

I dig the way they race.

Fitting after a fair few years of not quite getting over the line and just before their sponsor deal with Jumbo runs it's course

Special mention to Egan Bernal, previous winner, who completed the Tour de France after a horrendous crash into the back of a bus while flying downhill on a TT bike.

The maillot jaune pencilled in for the Vuelta which raises the profile of that event in 5 weeks’ time. Remember that he was a domestique for Roglič in this race before sharing GC leadership with him. Now he’s a two time winner.

Chris Froome appeared on Lance Armstrong’s ‘The Move’ podcast yesterday, expressing his desire to race until his current contract expires in 2 years’ time.
