I am looking for a specific item ... have been for a while.  So I know what SportsmansWarehouse charge, waiting for the loyalty points sales.  I also know what the regular bike shops charge ....

Going to be "fun" watching the RRP and final prices ...😋

May the odds be ever in your favour...

B.T.W. someone posted about a website in another thread where you can see the price history of an item from takealot. Servaltracker.co.za

Very useful for checking if that deal is actually a deal.

I've just noticed the inverted we bought has increased by 18% in the last month, it will be interesting to see if they do a "Black Friday" deal on it tomorrw.

And history repeats ....

After 20% discount still more expensive than two other stores ...

Buyers beware .... some good marketing .... less really good deals ....

Guys,
Check out these awesome deals at the new Cycle Lab in Goodwood N1 City
Not to be missed... When at check-out give my name as reference: Herman

Black Friday Bonanza Deals! | Cycle Lab

Have a great weekend 🚴‍♂️

I made it to page 6 and NOTHING stood out to me.

Cyclelab and CWC are store's that are on an equal footing to a Game or a Makro. Sure, you can get stuff there at probably a reduced pre-inflated price, but do you need it?

Uhmmm ... your special price now match the normal price at TotalSports.   In fairness, your price is lower than some others advertising "20%" discount ....

Still waiting for discounts below the normal prices ....

Thread hi-jack ....

What are your experiences of the Garmin 830 vs the 530 ?  Seems it boils down to buttons vs touch screen ....

I have been in the button camp to date ....

Don't hold your breath. CWC/CL (and others) will probably inflate the RRP to make it "more attractive". I have learned to shop around first and compare prices before pulling the trigger when a deal seems too good to be true.
