Did they start at 1500 today? Who knows. Struggling to understand why a medical aid company or a whatever it is the other company sells would give so much money for so little publicity in return? Not much happening on social media either. 

Any insights into the race appreciated. 🤷‍♂️

You should lead by example and put the full sponsor title in the thread.

I am struggling to understand why it bothers you what return they get when it has zero effect on how you sleep tonight?

Plenty coverage on the Insta and Twitter feeds. Actually Dryland, among others, are pretty good at this form of coverage.

Far better than a static live stream like some of the SA Cups. And part of a far higher return for sponsors.

I quite enjoy the story feeds, they do them well and it caters to most attention spans. From squirrel to fox 🤪

Substantial budget to properly package a live stream for any race unfortunately. Will have to wait in Epic and World Cup Series 😬

That's true. They'll need a commentator, some media chaps with cameras and microphones and a helicopter.

In all fairness I have no idea what the mileage was out of the earlier attempts for live broadcasting, I can only imagine they had far more peeps watching the teenager clips on social media. I'll just have to go fly my own bloody helicopter there and see what happens. 😜
