attack position. If that don't help stand.

I know I psych myself out.. Always think if I lose out of steam half way I'm gonna flip over and it's gonna hurt

That's one thing I can't get right. Actually standing up and pedaling.

Went with a whole bunch of mates to paarl for our own shuttle day. 4 hours of shuttle. Awesome.

Also did my biggest drop to date - 1.5m or so. I have the skill but it's the confidence holding me back. Felt sooo good to progress beyond my comfort zone and just realise that I am capable of that sort of feature.

Uni..thats a steep little climb. Need some good momentum approaching it.

Correct gear is also very important. You dont want to be in a big gear when you run out of speed halfway up

100%

Those steep jobbies are little bastards. Momentum is your friend. Approach at speed and then just as you're about to hit the hill change down rapidly so when your run out of momentum you can carry on powering up them. Often no need to get out the saddle

Very light! Holding up beautifully. I laced them but took them go Andrew @ Stoke to do the final touches. Very nice so far...

good to hear..... they are pretty much bomb proof.... I've got a set on my 29er HT too.......

I've always heard people say " light, strong, cheap...... pick 2 of those options" I found that tge i23's can deliver all 3 options, until recently, unfortunately, the price has gone up.

Looks awesome Nix. That zig zag looks like a real beeatch...

That was only 1/4 of that climb. You got to a false top looked up and saw that still to go!

Very tough race but stunning scenery and some nice single track sections.
