......and hit the rocks straight on.....bomb-proof approach.

Over that rock was the fastest line... I couldn't pick my front up as high as I wanted due to shoulder injury in the bail.... Even with that I didn't feel that rock even... Nothing compared to earlier in that line.

...and get up and do it all over again. ;)

Didn't fall there, sailed over it

Think there was actually rocks behind you can't see in that pic that 'lead you over it'  too... Those were the easy parts of the course anyway.

Did the DC recce - at one point it was 46 deg - bike was fine - I was not.

P.S- If anyone tells you the 2nd half is all downhills - shoot them and bury them, they are trying to kill you - might as well get in there first

Had a climbing day yesterday in Jonkershoek, so tried to climb every single climb that I could find.

every climb comes with a downhill section, so had a rad morning riding trails.

Very impressed with how the Onza's handle the rocks and rough stuff. Never heard a rim ping or lose grip off-camber on a rock or slide out of control.

Here I am on the way down from Groen huisie top - but the trail down is unfortunately destroyed by the fire.

Saturday 24/10 GIBA GORGE Ride

Wanted to see where a road went to...and ended up following the blue route. First time out and was stumped by the technical stuff... But it was awesome nonetheless

To the top of the Kaftan/Lebombo Mountains. First real test on my 1X10 11-36. Well, i did get the KOM, But the 11-36 is def to small for those big Mountains.

Will change over to 11-42 soon.
