While in principle I agree this is not the way, I can't help but think you've never been at the sharp end of a knife or stared down the barrel of a gun. 

People are gatvol and their lives are constantly in danger, so don't be so quick to tell them to "be better". Wannabe is obviously venting and not serious.

@Wannabeits not the kind of post that ages well in a public forum. Rather remove it is my advice.

Ja people are gatvol, myself included but we can't be advocating even in jest for further calamity.

I have, driving through DuNoon though, not there. Still can make the difference between the criminals and the people just living there. I'm convinced it's just a couple of criminals (a handful at best) terrifying the entire CT cycling community. Which is also why I think it would be a very simple problem to solve if the authorities gave half a f*k

I am 100% for the death penalty and self defense at whatever cost. 
 

Wishing death on people who have had no opportunity or chance in life is another thing completely.

Ja This!!. A little bit of proper.police work would clean up the problem and also improve the situation for the impoverished people setting  up their camp there.

Look, you removed your post (well done), a few posts later you stated post REDACTED (again, well done), and then you start arguing the nuances implicit/implied in the redacted post, saying nobody (you) ‘wished death…’.

Implicit in the possibility of burning a settlement to the ground, is obviously the possibility that people could burn/die, so do not tell others to ‘cool their heels’; you have removed/redacted your post, do not now argue what now cannot be re-read!

Sad to hear, I actually saw a police car parked by die Womag bridge so hoped some presence would deter attacks....but here we are.

Random thought .... pretty sure Hub-land must have a few connected individuals that can run with this.

 

1. A ride ending with a few media staff to get the word out

2. Possibly a second media session mid February ....

3. Build this up to get air time as the media starts reporting on CTCT.

 

Politions have figured out how to get air time with these big events ... time to get airtime for the reality as well.
