For mtb, I find Stans Race sealant to be the best. The race sealant has fibres and a grit like substance which seem to work really well at sealing. Check it every 3 months and top up or replace as needed and you are golden.

I prefer something I can get from cycle lab

The low pressure on a MTB allows the use of more types of sealant.

Adding gravel tyres means higher pressures, and thus the list of options reduce.

Thus I started using Enduroseal.

It does the job, it lasts, it cuases less muck in the tyres than the previious product.  It works good for all our bikes.

Sadly CL took it off their shelves to make way for MuchOff products.

I now buy it from other bikeshops or from SportsmansWarehouse.

Whatever you do get just avoid their Enduro Rhino sealant. I bought a new tyre and a bottle of that sealant recently from CWC and within 3 weeks I got a puncture, and that is when I discovered that the sealant was a complete failure.

I use Goats Milk sealant and I don't have any issues. I'm unsure if CWC / CL stocks it

I find that Stan's turns watery after a while, almost as if it has begun to separate.

I find that the road version requires more frequent top ups vs the MTB option

That is normal. More heat involved so the fluid loss is higher. Even worse with rim brakes bikes

Prices of all sealant products are ridiculous. Got the recipe and now mix my own. Works perfectly over last 4 months, not watery or big rubber clots (a stans problem)

Best part is that 4 liters of the stuff cost me less than 50% of a Stans 500 ml

If you want I will gladly post the recipe
