Alright, some pre-reading/listening for those new to KotAS

As mentioned elsewhere, Dave is doing a great job hyping up the "local rivalries" which make DC all the more fun.

Second year planning DC and this year going with 2 teams what a HEADACHE... Just yesterday 1 rider dropped out, and finding riders willing to do 8h00/08h30 is hard... i've used the 4 reserves already. Anyone keen please hit me up.

Hi Clement,

I have two young riders keen to participate. They’re fine the mileage but are in need of a team that can sponsor the exoerience. If your team is in a position to help you’ll gain two capable of 8 hrs easy I reckon. DM me if keen to know more. I’ll put you in touch with their club chairman and mentor

We are going with a mixed team, my first DC - took a while to get the fitness good enough for the distance, and we are aiming for Charles Milner medal, so it'll be a long gees filled coffee ride 😎

That's how the 1st should be done... My team we aiming to cut 50mins from last year and do a sub 7... as for the 2nd team 8/8h30. But both teams should come with Charles Milner medals. Thats the goal since we not going to podium.

I've done it with a few different goals over the years, and I'd say the number 1 thing is each rider must agree on what the goal is and how the team plans to go about achieving that. No team can get a perfectly balanced 12 rider line-up so knowing up front how things will play out when the rubber hits the road is crucial.
