pastapouch Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 its in the owner of the legs. But, if you plan on doing the Jock, get a flippen compact in front , and a 15-32 at the back Seriously - 11-23 would be fine for the World Funride A and B champ races, ie Argus and 94.7.
Wonder Woman Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Oh come on Cervelo I'm a girl and have done the jock on a 12-25!! That just proves you haven't trained properly.any guy should be happy up there on a 25....
IanJ Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Reminds me of the time I forgot to change my cassette and tried to keep up with epoh twice around Suikerbosrand on a 11-23 .
javadude Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 12-25 with compact crank, because i'm a FAT PANZY.
racman Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Did I forget to mention that my chainrings are also 11-23
DRIVETRAIN Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I like 11/23 -- / Also use 12/25 but true we don't have "mountains" per say ---- "DT"
Sammajoor Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 11-23 because I can .............................AND i ONLY CYCLE EVERY 3 MONTHS FOR 3 WEEKENDS lol

I't was much tougher than I thought it would be. And , girls are a bit lighter than guys, since the 25 working so well.
splat Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 12-25Anything less and I would pop my knee caps off on Suikerbossie! I would love an 11-26 though!
TNT1 Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I just read this topic and poll question, and I have a question: Why does he specify "rear" cassette? Can you get front ones?
Alida Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I voted 12/25 because if it was a choice between the two I'd use the 12/25 cassette over the 11/23 As it is, I've got a 12/23 on my bike.
ewep Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Training - 11/25 (Campy cluster) Racing - 11/26 (SRAM Red) otherwise it would've been 11/25 as well. In front, hmmm, anything from 47-54, depends on where the Q-Rings are at that stage.....
FanieFiets Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 compact voor. 11-23 agter. Gee wye range en dis klein verskil tussen die gears. nar. The question is which REAR casette OK, OK. 11-23 IF you have a compact crank. 12-25 for normal cranks.
