Brandon, don't you want to post this online to give the info to all hubbers please?  I think this will stop the Raleigh or not debate.

thanx fpr coming online Brandon. Any company replacing frames at the rate some hubbers claim you are replacing WILL go bust. The Raleigh debate has been raging now for quite some time and most of the tostestorone ridden "knowledgeable" cylsist who normally owns a "handmade" frame most likely also made by Kinesis with a Spaghetti groupset are the first to shoot down Raleigh. They are too veign to admit that your R15-20k bike are of much higher standard as their R50k bike. I am sure you are aware of this but just keep on doing what you are doing at the price you are doing for and you will keep on ripping out their soft underbellies!!!!!!

Sure the facts are boring, but this is an open invitation to pop around for a chat at the Raleigh booth at the Argus Expo if you want to be bored by the facts!!

The facts may be shocking to anyone paying 40% more for a bicycle brand assembled in the same factory as Raleigh!!

At least if the frame breaks and gets replaced every 6 months you can be sure to have a scratch-free frame...

A glass half full kind of personClapClap

The 2007  Raleigh carbon range frames is manufactured in Italy by a company called Dedacciai, Dedacciai is also responsible for manufacturing some frames for Pinarello and Bianchi, teams like AG2R, Illes Balears Caisse d? Epargne (?scar Pereiro 2006 Tour de France runner up), I did some research before deciding to purchase the 2007 Team Raleigh as I was about to purchase a brand spanking new Look frame for almost double the price of the entire Raleigh Team Setup, It is unfortunate that Raleigh has such a stigma attached to it as a ?Supermarket Bicycle? because if you look at the components on the carbon bikes alone, it is worth more in parts than what you pay for the entire bike.

<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

My Raleigh Team has, Shimano Dura-Ace 20 speed, Zipp 404 Wheelset, Deda Elementi Forrza Stem with Spectrum Alara Handlebar and Ritchey WCS Carbon Seat post with Fizik Arione Saddle, hardly components you expect to find on a Pick and Pay bike?

So to cut a long story short, these components you can find on most ?Pro Bike Setups?, frames will always break and crack under strain, go to any bike forum and you would find that there are similar discussions about the other brand names, bikes are made to be ridden, and I am quite comfortable that purchasing a Raleigh was the right decision, and with a limited life time warranty on the frame who cares about a crack?

And it is about time someone made bikes a little more affordable, and if you feel that riding a Trek, Giant or any other brand name makes you faster or better, well then I suggest you read Mr Lance Armstrong?s book ?It is not about the Bike?

I ride a 3 year old (I think) RC9000.  I was a bit apprehensive when I bought it as I was "downgrading" to a Raliegh (What a skandaal!!!), but you know what it has given me only pleasure and nothing else.

All my fellow cyclist friends are always amazed at how "light" it is when they pick it up (we all know the bike test!!) and then immdediately the comments start coming.

Even my brother bought the new 2007 team issue to my total shock, and all I can say is that it is an awesome machine and it is spec'ed unbelievably.

So to all you critics and non believers out there Censored.

"It is not about the bike" is a title of a book, in order to encourage non cyclists to read it because the story is not about the bike. If it really wasn't about the bike do you honestly think that Lance and the Trek engineers would have spent hours and hours to make his TT and climbing bikes the best possible?

Oops, I forgot his cycling partner also bought the the new team bike last year, and yes his has cracked!!  Just bear in mind that he weighs over 100kg's.

And you know, his frame is being replaced without any hassles or any issues.

If my memory serves me correctly, the rather expensive Cervelo's were also cracking left right and centre not so long ago.
