He would have been super motivated before the tour started, and when soler hernandez took his stage I think Robbie would have been even more amped! I just find the viewpoints and certain things slightly annoying of our local anchormen! I think you know who I mean! C'mon guys, show a little faith! And he's climbing with the best! Jut needs one more good win, couple of intermediates! Hey it doesn't look like we get points for having the guys in green in our fantasy le tour (Why did I pick 3 sprinters then???) He didn't loose interest, he's was just very realistic in saying that Tom is stronger than him so even if Robbie keeps finishing 2nd behinf every time he won't take the jersey. Red Zone Posted July 20, 2007 Share Tom is stronger than McEwen and that hasnt stoped the Aussie taking Green. Tom needs to big long leadout, without a structured controlled spring he stuggles. nochain Posted July 20, 2007 Share I have to agree with Bruce,it's all mind games!!At that level he must believe he can take Boonen.He has already finished ahead of him in a couple of sprints this year so it's all a matter of making Boonen feel stronger than he might really be!!It is very very hard for any sprinter no matter who you are to get it right everyday!!
